Award Winning Service
Vande Hey Brantmeier Auto Group began in 1978 when Tom Vande Hey opened Tom Vande Hey Auto Sales in Little Chute, Wisconsin, with just eight used vehicles and a single employee. Rapid early growth led to 25 vehicles and a small team, and in 1980 Tom welcomed Dave Brantmeier as a full partner. Together, they expanded across the Fox Valley, opening new locations and pursuing opportunities to better serve local drivers.
In 1984, they consolidated operations by selling the Menasha site and purchasing the current Appleton location on Lynndale Drive.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, the partners continued to grow—acquiring GM and Chrysler franchises in Chilton and, in 1998, building a new state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot collision center.
In 2000, the group added Jeep and Dodge franchises when Central Garage of Potter joined the organization. Major facility investments followed, including a new 44,000-square-foot Chevrolet store in 2001 and a 13,000-square-foot expansion in 2002 to house Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep operations.
Today, Vande Hey Brantmeier Auto Group proudly sells and services new Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep vehicles across two Chilton locations with a team of more than 60 employees.
We remain a family-owned and operated by Dave Brantmeier and Justin Brantmeier. We combine deep local roots with modern convenience, and our commitment remains the same as when we started: honest service, thoughtful growth, and a focus on people.
